Membership is a special thing here at ‘the Nook’ because membership here is more like an open friendship. Members are open and friendly with one another and very social, not confining their relationships to just the lounge. Members hold their own social events, which are highly supported by other members. Back yard barbeques and steak cook-off’s, block parties and an awesome Oktoberfest event, afternoon socials and group dinners, even the occasional ski trip, comprise the bulk of external membership activities, which the shop strongly supports.
Members get discounts on “monthly cigar specials” and as part of our membership program, a certain percentage of monthly sales are returned in store credit points. Members also receive a very special “First Access” right to special, rare cigars. For example, if we receive a box of cigars that is very rare, meaning we see them once every six months or so (or it may be the only box we ever see) we give our members exclusive rights to the box for 48 hours; during this time members can reserve a certain number of cigars for themselves. Sometimes, the product will never even hit the shelves.
